Massanutten, Two Mile Ridge, and Rocky Mount from Two Mile Run Overlook @ MP 76 on Skyline Drive - Elkton, VA, USA

The Rocky Mount forest fire ravaged this area in April 2016. You can see burned trees just above the lush green foliage in the foreground. Far in the back is the long Massanutten ridge with its distinctive southern summit. Two Mile Ridge is in front of Massanutten with Rocky Mount on the right. Two Mile Run is a stream that flows through the valley between Two Mile Ridge and Rocky Mount. Exposure: 1/100 sec at ƒ / 8.0, ISO 100, -1 EV. Lens: 14.0-24.0 mm f/2.8. Camera: NIKON D750.
