Durham Market Place - Durham, England, UK
Durham Market Place has been Durham's city center since medieval times. Initially, it was the center of commerce where goods were bought and sold. It is now a geographic center of Durham with businesses, a town hall, and a church. The current marketplace buildings are of Victorian architecture. Statues of the 3rd Marquess of Londonberry and Neptune decorate the square.
