Low Force - Newbiggin, Barnard Castle, England, UK
Low Force is a small, 18-foot (5.5m) waterfall over the Whin Sill on the River Tees in Barnard Castle, England. Two hundred ninety-five million years ago, molten rock cooled and formed the Whin Sill. The falls are within the North Pennines Area of Outstanding National Beauty (AONB). Portions of Steven Spielberg's movie '1917' were filmed in this area.
